For so many of us our pets are not simply possessions. Instead they are members of our families. They bring comfort to the elderly and lonely; they bring joy not only to our personal lives but all that they interact with. Many of us would not go through life without our four legged companions. My own dog Chessie is the Social Bell of the community. Everybody knows Chessie, and Chessie knows how to work the system. In fact she can work a treat out of every single staff member at both of my businesses; she even receives her nightly treats during her evening walks from our neighbors. Mind you, they best have her favorite treats on board! Tell us about your own special buddies who happen to make it all worth while. The highlight of my day is always crawling in bed at night with Chessie, my American mutt, and Max, my huge shelter cat. Tell us about your best buddies and we will celebrate along with you by posting a pet of the week right here on the site. After all, they give us unconditional love. Remember they not only give us 100% unconditional love but they have served even in our armed services to preserve our rights as Americans. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Congratulations!!! LOOP OUTSTANDING PETS of the WEEK ____________________________________________ OUTSTANDING PET of the WEEK July 25-July 31, 2010 Dear Loopsters,With the weather the way it is, it seems that the smartest pets around would be those that determined to stay in the water as much as possible. That said, we had an easy time deciding on this week's winners. You see, these GORGEOUS pets are in the water all the time. And, their surroundings are also a beautiful site to behold. They also have some elder cousins who live a few blocks to the north, but we decided to honor the young ones first because the older relatives insisted. It is with great pleasure that we announce that the family of winners...an entire school of them. The Loop Outstanding Pets of the Week, July 25-31,2010, are the GOLDEN GAYE-FISHE FAMILY of S.
